Fighting Breast Cancer Takes Legwork!

Celebrities join thousands of participants for 10th anniversary of City of Hope’s Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer, October 8

For thousands of women with breast cancer, and for those at risk for developing the disease, medical research provides hope. Take steps on Sunday, October 8, at City of Hope's Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer and support groundbreaking research to prevent, combat and ultimately cure this disease. This year marks the 10th anniversary of City of Hope’s Walk for Hope, which will feature Grammy award winning singer, songwriter, actress and breast cancer survivor Olivia Newton-John, 2006 National Walk for Hope Celebrity Ambassador actress Andrea Evans of NBC’s “Passions,” and Lisa Joyner, host of TV Guide Channel’s “In FANity.” More than 8,000 participants are expected to attend. Walk for Hope takes place at City of Hope’s campus, located at 1500 E. Duarte Road, Duarte, Calif.
