How To Propagate

I don't know the name of this plant but I think it's one of those succulent cacti. Anyways, it's growing really big and the mother plant is sending out "runners". Runners are specialized stems that grows on the soil surface and forms a new plant at one or more of its nodes. I took a pot and planted the runners in rich soil. I tugged the runner a few weeks after and I think it has formed new roots in the soil.
It's time to separate the runner from the mother plant. I just cut them separate with a shearing pruner.
Part of the runner that looks like a stem danggling from the pot.
Now I have two of these in different pots.
Do you know the name of this plant by any chance?
