Planting Sweet Fennel

These sweet fennel seedlings were started from seeds that Wintersown has sent me months ago. I had so much success that most of the seeds have germinated. They were grown from those "six-pack trays" and I've noticed that they finally need to be planted on the ground as some have roots sticking out of the container. I have to thin them out and plant each of them with enough space to grow. Enough meaning six inches apart as I don't have the biggest garden. You can see here the expansive root growth and it's cotyledon (?).
